I see this person has made the same mistake as many have in the past about the whole medusa thing. Medusa is not a monster type... its the name of a specific gorgon. Gorgon is the monster type. In the actual myth, there were 3 gorgons. Medusa was only one of them. The other 2 were her sisters. I've no idea where the name lamia came from though.
